“I have been to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone 4 times in summer and fall. My 5th trip was in winter and it was the most beautiful sight of all. Snow was everywhere. We took 2 snowmobile rides while there–one into Yellowstone to Old Faithful and one south of Jackson Hole to a ranch with cabins along a river. If snowmobiles are not for you, then you can ride in the snow bus. We took a sleigh ride and rode up the ski lift to overlook the town and valley.

There are 2 ski resorts in Jackson Hole but even if you don’t ski (like me) just go for the views and experience. Spring Creek Ranch sits high on a bluff and you can see for miles. Thousands of elk gather in the valley below and you can sleigh ride right out into them. You might even see some moose. No bears in winter-they’re hibernating- unless you go over to West Yellowstone to their Bear Habitat. Do yourself a favor–just go. You’ll love it.”
